JILLIAN ALLEN MS RD LDN

Using evidenced based practice for whole body nourishment

Taking pride in practicing with evidence based science, Jillian is a Licensed and Registered Dietitian who meets clients where they are in the process of change. She believes in using a whole systems approach, looking at each individual as a whole and unique human being with their own story. Jillian is passionate about empowering clients to apply individualized and sound nutrition therapy to achieve and sustain the balanced lifestyle that works for them. Her approach incorporates not just how to nourish the body, but also the mind and soul for optimal well-being. 

Jillian received her Bachelor's of Science in Health Science and Public Health from Boston University, where she also received emergency medicine technician training. After working in a fast paced emergency room in the heart of Boston, Jillian felt a greater calling to apply an upstream approach to health, focusing on prevention and overall quality of life. She went on to receive her Master's Degree in Nutrition and Health Promotion from Simmons University, where she also completed her Didactic Program in Dietetics and Certificate in Sports Nutrition. She then completed Dietetic Internship and earned her credentials as a Registered Dietitian.

For the last decade, Jillian has experience working in several areas of healthcare, from hospitals and clinics, to community settings and schools, to corporate wellness companies. She has experience working with a wide range of children and adults from varying backgrounds, both one on one and in group settings, bringing a unique and well rounded perspective. Jillian currently works with the United States Army in the Military Nutrition Division, assisting in cutting edge research aimed at improving warfighter health and performance. She also helps run the school nutrition program for the public school district in Lynnfield, MA. Keeping up to date on nutrition research while actively working in the community, Jillian values each individual as a whole person with their own unique story.  Jillian's mission is to empower others to embrace nutrition to feel good, live well, and thrive for the long run. ​​​​​
